About the salivary calculi.

Dr. Kwak stuck three syringes in me. One on the outside of the cheek, one on the inside, the third right into the salivary duct.
Apparently he shot a solution to the chunk of calcium that caused the swelling.

Within a few days and thorough massaging of the cheek, it all passed through without incident.

Finally my face is symetrical again.

Why the bad drivers?

Disclaimer: I don't make stereotypes, I just see them. - Russel Peters

What the hell?
Two instances lately

First in Richmond, driving down Alderbridge Rd. and the car in front of me slows down. The light is green, the speed limit is 50km/hr, the chinese lady (again, i don't make the stereotypes...) has three passengers with her and you can see that she is clearly looking for an address. She appears to see it, and clearly drives right past the driveway to the apartment building they were finding. Even though she was only going about 20km/hr.

Now normally in a situation like this, I would drive a lap around the block. Either that or pull a u-turn. Heck, even turn on the hazard lights and pull over to the right.

What does she do?
Well let me tell you.

She apparently believes that her car is a 4x4 and proceeds right onto the sidewalk. Now this isn't one of those newer neighbourhood sidewalks that have the smooth curbs you can easily drift onto; this is the old school curb with a perpendicular block of cement rising from the ashphalt.

I watch in awe and disbelief and this crazylady takes this challenge head on! At the end, all four wheels of the toyota corolla are on the sidelwalk.
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Which leads me to a few days ago in Fort Langley.

Running about 15 minutes late for work and an old lady 2 cars in front of my car (again, i don't make the stereotypes...) begins driving down Glover Road (the main street of Fort Langley) and slows down while finding an address. She stops in front of the pharmacy, seems like that's what she was looking for. However, all the parking stalls nearby seem to be taken. There are of course, a few more down the block which at least i could clearly see.

What does she do?
Well let me tell you.

She parks the car IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET and gets out (engine still running mind you). Completely blocking traffic. Walks straight into the pharmacy.
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Out of mere coincidence, there is a cop right across the street watching the whole thing. He is dumbfounded as well. So while the lady is in the store, he walks to the car, smirk on his face. Looks at the massive line of cars behind him, starts laughing and gets into the lady's car and pulls it ahead, turns it around, and parks it behind his car. He then gets out and waits for the lady to arrive.

Wish i could have seen what happened, but i was running late.

Either way, like i've said before, if you can't properly drive a shopping cart in a grocery store, you shouldn't have a driver's license.
